SafeBox offers a private way to send and receive SMS
"The violation of privacy can be as simple as someone taking your phone without you knowing about it, to look through your contacts or read your SMS. SafeBox is a tool that protects your mobile life from prying eyes and you can downlad it for FREE!"
BARCELONA, February 17, 2010 - SafeBox Ltd. today announced the beta-launch of its free mobile application that lets people send and receive private SMS (normal or encrypted) within a secret list of contacts.
SafeBox is a unique tool that can be downloaded for free from the safebox.mobi website and that works with more than 700 different mobiles (Java phones). SafeBox allows users to create a secondary phonebook inside of their SafeBox application, to send and receive private SMS within this trusted circle of contacts and to store confidential notes such as password, access codes, pin numbers, financial information and so on. The application can be used anywhere in the world, and if a user is unlucky to lose his mobile or have it stolen, all the information stored in the SafeBox (SMS, contacts, notes) is protected by the user's personal PIN preventing access by anyone else.
